Friday – 6 to 9 pm
Saturday – 9 to 5 pm
Sunday – 9 to 3
Learn the basics of blacksmithing from a skilled blacksmith, or build on skills you have learned in the past. Hands-on projects improve your hammer skills and add to your techniques, and coaching speeds your progress.
With an anvil for each student, there is plenty of hands-on learning and superb coaching in this popular class. A great way to enjoy and refine your smithing skills.
It’s like having a shop away from home, with great tools, mentorship, and community. Students design and construct projects of their choice. Expert instructors offer guidance on design, construction, and finishing, based on individual needs.
We also have a large library of books for you to peruse and get ideas and see patterns. Maybe you want to build a hammock holder, plant stand or bookshelves – we have lots of plans. You are welcome to come down and dream and plan.
A Wood 101 class is required to learn your way around Anvil Academy before taking a Projects Class. Cost is $75 for 3 hours.
