Had a great time being a part of Champoeg State Heritage Park demonstrating a wheel banding on Saturday, July 16th!
April 22 & 23 Anvil Academy sponsored the “Horsedrawn Vehicle and Equipment Auction” at the Yamhill County Fairgrounds. There were over 900 items that were brought by people from around the Northwest, with 75 vehicles sold over the 2 days. It was a fundraising event for Youth Educational Scholarships that raised about $5,000 for at-risk youths.
Congratulations to John! John graduated from High School on June 9th, and was honored with the distinction of the top Senior Project presentation. Way to go John!!!
Our first major project as a Historic Trade School is the reproduction of a historic Oregon mudwagon. The mudwagon currently lives in Pendleton, Oregon and is used during the annual Pendleton Round-Up Westward Ho! parade.
